Mônica Lança Navarro
My first job was as an English teacher at the age of 19. In the beginning, the job was to maintain the fluency acquired in the exchange student program and pay for the college tuition fees. But I fell in love with teaching, and with the growing number of students and personal motivation, Idiomas To Go was founded.
I have a postgraduate degree in Bilingualism from Instituto Singularidades and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Mackenzie University, with a high school year in the United States. Somewhat eclectic but complementary.
Besides Idiomas To Go, I love spending time with my family (this includes my dog), sewing, biking, being outdoors, meeting friends, and traveling.
I enjoy seeing and reading different things, and being able to communicate in three languages (Portuguese, English, and Spanish) helps me gain access to an incredible diversity of information and insights. Love it!
I love to have coffee with students and talk about world trends and language learning.
If you don’t know me yet, follow me on Linkedin and come to have some coffee with me!
